Join Save Our Shores and local expert panelists from Habitat Stewardship Project Monterey Bay, Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, Regeneración - Pájaro Valley Climate Action, Ventana Wildlife Society, and Watsonville Wetlands Watch as we explore the role and importance of environmental education within our Monterey Bay communities.
Together we will learn how each of these organizations are working to engage youth and our wider communities in connecting with nature. Our expert panelists will discuss the differences between classroom learning and outdoor learning, and how our local nonprofit organizations are reducing barriers and increasing equity in environmental education programs and access to outdoor spaces. The evening will conclude with a chance for audience questions and to mingle with our expert panelists.
You won’t want to miss this informative and exciting discussion!
